Monica Huntington
"20 Minutes" was written, directed and produced by Monica Huntington. She also stars in it as Grace, the loving wife. She brings to the role, a warmth that is sweet and adoring yet playful and twinkling with fiery mischief. Monica has appeared in such film as "Executive Decision" with Kurt Russel and Halle Berry, "That Thing You Do" directed by Tom Hanks, the Dave Barry film starring John Cleese, to premiere at the Santa Barbara Film Festival, February 2005; and this past year had starring roles in the indie features, "My Baby's Momma Drama," and the Horror film, "Lich," which already has a cult following overseas.

Monica is a Southern California native, and has enjoyed performing most of her life. She has studied with Margie Haber, Larry Moss, and Teri Tunder. Since producing "20 Minutes," she has fallen in love with writing and directing. She has written a feature length comedy, which is in development, and has three other screenplays in the works, including the feature length version of "20 Minutes."

The story for "20 Minutes" came to Monica while driving home late one night after acting class in Beverly Hills. The story kept haunting her, until she decided to write the short screenplay, which tugged at the back of her mind for a couple of years until she was compelled to produce the film. Producing the film was an exciting journey for her. She received thousands of submissions from agents and actors. It was difficult to narrow it down to the hundred or so actors she auditioned. She screen tested everyone and personally read with all of the potential "Scotts."
